In the spring of 1983, President W. Russell Todd and Athletic Director Joseph Sabol established a formal Norwich University Athletic Hall of Fame.  Located in Andrews Hall, the purpose of the Hall of Fame is to select and honor outstanding Norwich university athletes who subsequently distinguish themselves in personal or public endeavors, and to honor people who have contributed significantly to the development of these individuals or to the excellence of athletics at Norwich University.
