Sport(s)

Volleyball

Year(s)

2000-2004

Alpullu excelled in volleyball and was a part of the 2000 National Championship volleyball team. She attended Dickinson State University from 2000-04. Yasemin (Alpullu) Arsan (2000-2003) was a 4-time All-American volleyball player for DSU. Only 2 other volleyball players (Neslihan Yilmaz Saral and Nancy Nyongesa Sella) in DSU history hold that distinction. During her first year at DSU, she helped propel the Blue Hawks to the school's first national championship in any sport. For her career at DSU, Yasemin collected over 1500 kills (4th all-time) and still holds the DSU record for service aces at 293. Alpullu's teams were consistently ranked in the top 5 nationally, never lost a conference match (52-0) during her tenure, and won over 83%  (113-23) of their matches. Yasemin majored in Business Administration.
