Kevin spent three years playing hockey at Nobles and has been widely recognized as one of the most impactful players to skate the ice. His final year at Nobles, Kevin scored 25 goals and had 44 assists in 29 games.
Kevin finished the 2008-09 season tied for the Noble and Greenough lead with 55 points, 28 goals, and 27 assists in 39 games. He was named Prep Player of the Year and All-New England East honors as a forward in 2009-2010. He played for the U.S. U-18 team that competed at the Ivan Hlinka Tournament in Czech Republic and Slovakia in August of 2009.
Kevin was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. He chose to defer his professional career to attend Boston College. As a sophomore Kevin played on the NCAA Championship winning team. After overcoming a serious injury his junior year, Kevin finished his senior year as a top 50 scorer in Boston College history, earned American Hockey Coaches Association All-America first-team honors, was tabbed a Hobey Baker Memorial Top 10 Finalist, earned All-Hockey East first-team honors, was voted a New England Men's Division I All-Star, earned the team's Most Improved Player award, and became the first Eagle to score five points in a game since 2007.
After graduating from BC, Kevin signed with the New York Rangers as a free agent and currently plays for the Philly Flyers.
