Oliver White ’12 

Oliver White ’12 was a four-year starter for both varsity soccer and baseball and co-captained both teams. Oliver was an outstanding and well-respected athlete on the field while combining his passion for sports and service to others off the field. 

Oliver was named ISL Offensive Player of the Year in both 2010 and 2011, ISL First team in 2010 and 2011, and in 2011, he was also named to ESPN Rise’s 40 Best New England High School Soccer Players. He helped lead his team to ISL league championships his junior and senior years. 

Oliver earned the 2012 Massachusetts Gatorade Soccer Player of the Year, which recognizes not only outstanding athletic excellence, but also high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character demonstrated on and off the field. 

After Nobles, Oliver went on to play soccer at Harvard and then professionally in Australia, North America and Europe. He has since founded the Oliver White Foundation with a mission of spreading positivity and amplifying Black excellence as an avenue to raise awareness of racial injustice.
