Brian Wervey '97 (football), a graduate of Lake Catholic High School, was a two-time All-American linebacker in 1995 and 1996. He earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors in both of those seasons and was part of the 1996 NCAA National Championship team. In 1996, Wervey led the team with 10 tackles for loss, 6.0 sacks and was second with 9 pass breakups.
