Heather Campbell played basketball at Arkansas Tech from the 1993-94 season through the 1996-97 season. During that stretch, Campbell was instrumental in leading the Golden Suns to four regular season conference championships that saw the team go a remarkable 53-5 in conference play.

Following those conference championships, Campbell also helped lead the Golden Suns to four NAIA National Tournaments, advancing as far as the Final Four in 1997.

As a player, Campbell was a two-time all-conference selection, earning All-AIC honors in 1995 and All-GSC West honors in 1997. She was also named the GSC West Division Player of the Year in 1997 and an All-American later that same year.

Leading the team in scoring three-consecutive years, Campbell posted the eighth-best single-season scoring total in 1996-97 with 650 points.

In terms of all-time ranks, Campbell is in the Top-10 all-time in Scoring (6th; 1,856), Free Throws Made (7th; 344), Three-Point Field Goals Made (7th; 152), Three Point Field Goals Attempted (7th; 362), Field Goals Made (8th; 680) and Field Goals Attempted (1,365).

She also ranks in the Top-20 in Rebounding (12th; 589), Assists (15th; 294) and Steals (20th; 160).
