Kevin Crafton played baseball at Tech from 1993-96 and was a four-time all-conference selection. Three of those all-conference nods saw Crafton be named to the First Team, doing so in the GSC West in 1996 and the AIC in 1995 & 1994.

One of the best pitchers all-time at Tech, Crafton currently holds career records in Wins (33), ERA (2.42), Strikeouts (262) and Complete Games (30). Additionally, he has the single-season record for Wins with 12 in 1995 and is one of four pitchers all-time with double-digit wins in a season.

Following his career at Tech, Crafton pitched professionally in the St. Louis Cardinals organization for six seasons from 1996-2001 and advanced as high as Triple A (AAA). In his professional career, Crafton posted a 31-15 record and had a 4.05 ERA with 250 strikeouts in 286.2 innings.
