Tom Kamerling has a long-standing relationship with Arkansas Tech Athletics that spans the better part of five decades. A former Wonder Boys football and men’s basketball player, Kamerling truly became synonymous with Tech Athletics through the use of his booming voice.

Starting in the early 1970s, Kamerling began covering Tech Athletics as the radio play-by-play announcer and later as the public address announcer.

Beginning in 2002, Kamerling served as the in-stadium/in-arena PA voice for ATU football, basketball, volleyball and softball. In a span of two decades, Kamerling worked more than 100 football games and more than 600 basketball games.

His unmistakable booming voice will always be remembered as an integral part of the in-game experience at many Tech athletic events.
