Ryland Milner

Northwest Missouri State (1929-1933) (1937-1975)

Milner spent time as the head coach of Northwest's football (1937-57), basketball (1943-50), track and field (1946-50), golf (1947-75) and cross country programs (1958-62). He had a record of 90-63-13 as the head football coach, and won six MIAA championships (1938, 1939, 1941, 1942, 1948, 1952). He held a record of 70-59 as the basketball coach.

As the track and field coach, Milner led the Bearcats to four MIAA Championships (1949 indoor and outdoor, 1950 indoor and outdoor).
