In Mike Nadeau’s brief three year tenure as the head coach of the Raiders Baseball program, he accomplished what most in the baseball world in the Pacific Northwest thought could not be done.  In just his second season as a college head coach, in 2011, Nadeau led the Raiders to the program’s first ever West Division Title and a Fifth Place finish at the NWAACC Championships.  In 2012, Nadeau’s Raiders achieved the impossible, repeating as winners of the West Division and completing their amazing season as Champions of the NWAACC.  In his 3 years, Nadeau recruited and coached; 22 West Region All-Stars, 6 Gold Gloves, 3 West Region MVP’s, 6 NWAACC All-Conference Players, and 4 ABCA All-Americans.  In addition, 34 of his players moved on to play at the 4-year level.  Nadeau compiled a 3-year West Division record of 53-20, and an overall record of 79-45.  Nadeau was twice named the West Region Coach of the Year (2011 & 2012), was selected the 2012 NWAACC Coach of the Year, and he capped off his Pierce career by being named the 2012 ABCA 2-Year Coach of the Year.  Nadeau’s three short years with the Raiders built the foundation for a program that is now known as one of the most successful in the NWAC, qualifying for playoffs for a Pierce College record 11 straight years.
