Town of Peetz Postcard

Town of Peetz Postcard

Incorporated May 17, 1917, the Town of Peetz rises out of the South Platte River Valley with a striking plateau known as the Peetz Table standing high above its surroundings. The town of Peetz serves as the center for agriculture, support services, educational and recreational activities on the plateau. The level landscape of the table is located midway between two major county seats of the plains, Sterling Colorado and Sidney, Nebraska. This allows for both a true rural lifestyle with urban services, making the community truly the "Top of the Plains" (found on reverse side of the postcard)
