Already a member of the Ludlow Athletics Hall of Fame as an athlete, Greg Kolodziey has continued to build an extraordinary legacy as a coach. He spent 21 years as an assistant coach for the Ludlow boys soccer program, contributing to 8 Western Mass Championships and 5 State Titles. As head coach, Greg has led the Lions for 18 seasons, adding another 8 Western Mass Titles and 4 State Championships to his résumé. In 2024, he achieved a career milestone by earning his 200th win.
His leadership and consistent success have earned him numerous honors, including being named Massachusetts Coach of the Year twice and New England Coach of the Year in 2018. Beyond the accolades, Greg is known for his dedication to his players, his deep ties to the Ludlow soccer community, and his lifelong commitment to excellence both on and off the field.
