• Championed, through leadership on the Investment and Property and Grounds Committees and with generous support of the Believe & Achieve, Campaign for Students, and Forefront Campaigns, the expansion and renovations of numerous athletic facilities.

• Served for 11 years on the Board of Trustees, providing leadership as the Board’s vice chair and as a valuable member of the executive, finance, investment, and property and grounds committees. 

• Supported numerous capital campaigns, leading to the fruition/completion of the Bruton Smith Athletic Center, the Harris Performance Gym, and served as honorary chairs for the Campaign for Students.

 • Attended countless Country Day events, including devoted support of our athletic programs by cheering from the sidelines at their children’s and grandchildren’s football, track and field, wrestling, soccer, field hockey, swimming, basketball, and lacrosse games!
