Sheri Melgard Dahlstrom graduated magna cum laude from Jamestown College in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Nursing. In 1992, she completed her Master’s degree in Nursing Administration from Bellarmine University in Louisville, graduating summa cum laude. In 2014, she completed the GE Fellowship program for Healthcare Executives.

After more than 45 years in the medical field, Ms. Dahlstrom has demonstrated an admirable call to service. She spent the last 20 years of her professional career as a Chief Nursing Officer for Banner Health in several of their acute care facilities throughout the Phoenix metro area. She achieved Magnet status, a national certification for excellence in nursing, for Banner Estrella Medical Center, a highlight as she closed out her career.

Highlighting her passion for others and her leadership abilities, she mentored six of her direct reports to achieve their dreams of becoming chief nursing officers.
