MESSAGE FROM COACH LEE

Sedro-Woolley opened the Skagit County Championships with strong depth, multiple PRs, and standout performances across the board. Lyla Self led the way, setting a new county record and school record in the 100m (12.31) while also posting top qualifying times in the 200 (26.24) and 400 (1:01.91). Kayla Camp earned County Champion honors in the long jump (16'3"). On the boys side, Ethan DeJong won the 110 hurdles prelims (15.30) and placed third in the 300 hurdles. Leif Spitler led the distance group, placing 6th in the 1600 (4:37.75, PB), while others added depth. Overall, it was a well-rounded Day 1 showing.
