Kansandra Gonzalez (DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR/1st Team)
Kasandra ended the Conference Season 7-0 (10-1) with 28 (58 total) innings pitched only allowing 2 hits (20 total), 1 walk (12 total), and 1 earned run all season while striking out 76 ( 82%) of the 93 batters she faced (142 on the season). Kasandra's conference ERA was 0.250 (0.600 total) with an opponent .022 Batting average (.099 total). Offensively she ended the conference season with a .625 AVG (.558), .750 (.683) OBP with 6 (7) doubles, 2 triples, 3 (5) home runs, and 24 (32) RBI.
BriEllen Kononen (CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR/1st Team)
BriEllen was our leadoff hitter starting the momentum for us in most games. A .667 average (.552 overall) .862 SLG with an .750 OBP (.653 overall) going 26-39 (overall team leading 32 hits/58 AB) with 6 (9) doubles, 3 HR, 23 (26) RBI, and team leading 33 (39) runs scored scoring 63% (52%) of her plate appearances, and perfect 13-13 (18-18) stolen bases.
McKenna Edwards (1st Team)
McKenna was our second hitter in the lineup, and more like a second lead-off behind BriEllen, all season. McKenna had a team leading .679 AVG (.614 overall and team-leading), .818 SLG, team leading .809 (.746 overall and team leading) OBP during conference 19-28 (27-44 overall) with 7 doubles, 1 triple, 23 RBI (25) 14 BB (17) 5 (6) HBP 29 Runs scored (36 overall) scoring 60% (53%) of her plate appearances and 7 stolen bases.
McKenna Lewellen (1st Team)
McKenna stepped up her freshman year hitting .611 (.500 overall) with an OBP of .643 (.532 overall) in conference play. She had a second-best 28 RBI (32 behind Reagan) including 5 (6) doubles and 4 HR in conference play. On the mound she accumulated 28 innings pitched going 5-0 (6-1 total) giving up only 13 (17) hits, 3 (7) earned runs for an opponent batting average of .133 (.142) walking 10 (11) while striking out 34 (39) for a 0.750 ERA in conference play (1.46 overall).
Reagan Evans (1st Team)
Reagan stepped up in game-changing moments such as vs. Burlington's 1-0 win, and provided a spark for our team as the team leading HR hitter. .579 AVG (.473 overall), .646 OBP (.538) going 22-38 (30-59) with 7 (9) doubles, 1 triple, and 6 (9) HRs. 32 (37 team leading) RBI with 33 (37) runs scored and 7 Stolen bases.
Peyton Brownfield (2nd Team)
Peyton called every pitch behind the plate, which is rare to see these days. She also had zero errors, and only 1 passed balls in conference play, and only 1 girl was able to steal off of her all conference season. Offensively Peyton hit .593 (overall .512) in conference and had an obp of .744 (overall .688) with 4 doubles, 17 RBI (23 overall), a team leading 15 walks (22 overall and career record breaking) and 17 RBI (23 overall).
Veanna Lanphere (2nd Team)
Veanna put up impressive stats in conference play: 14-22, 3 Doubles, 1 triple, 15 RBI, and 15 runs scored (.529 average, .595 OBP 18-34 with 18 RBI and 18 Runs scored). She started every game in the outfield, and was a key contributor in the bottom half of the lineup either getting on base, or solid RBI's allowing us to continue turning us back over to the top.
