Sedro-Woolley senior Ryan Madsen has signed to continue her academic and wrestling career at Ottawa University on a wrestling scholarship. Madsen capped off an outstanding senior season by earning a fourth-place finish at the prestigious Mat Classic XXXVII after placing third at the District 1 3A Championships to qualify for state.
Throughout the season, she consistently established herself among the state's top wrestlers at 190 pounds, winning championships at the Woolley Women's Tournament, Rock Island Rumble, and Borderite Blizzard while also finishing runner-up at the Lady Knights Invitational. Madsen was a key contributor to Sedro-Woolley's success, helping lead the Cubs to the 2026 Girls 3A 4th Place at the State Championship and earning the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level through her dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence.
