MESSAGE FROM COACH DEES

Sedro-Woolley competed against Oak Harbor and Coupeville in a competitive three-team meet, falling to Oak Harbor while earning a team victory over Coupeville. The Cubs continued to show strong effort across the meet, with athletes competing in multiple individual events and relays. Anna Walker led the way with a third-place finish in the 200 freestyle (3:03.02), while Alexandra Moffett placed fifth in the 50 freestyle (37.17) and added a strong third-place finish in the 100 backstroke (1:44.47).

Melissa Kippenhan finished fifth in the 100 freestyle (1:31.46) and anchored the Cubs' 400 freestyle relay. Layla Gaither and Walker finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 100 breaststroke. The Cubs also earned a second-place finish in the 200 freestyle relay and fielded two teams in the 400 freestyle relay. The meet provided valuable racing experience and continued opportunities for the team to build depth and improve throughout the season.
