Dr. Kelly Marsh is a Trinity Hiller success story. She was a member of the Class of 1986 where she exhibited the beginnings of her impact in higher education. She was the editor of the Olympus Yearbook and The Trinity Literary Journal. She was the vice-president of the National Honor Society. Dr. Marsh is a 1990 graduate of Dartmouth College and received her Master’s Degree and Ph.D. from Penn State University. Her research is in Feminist and Rhetorical Narrative Theory.
Dr. Marsh is currently an English professor at Mississippi State University in Starkville. She has published numerous literary articles and books. Her success has been documented and well recognized as she received the 2016 John Grisham Master Teacher Award and the 2006 Mississippi Council Humanities Teacher Award. She was honored with the Outstanding Faculty Award from Mississippi State University in 2005 and the winner of the South Atlantic Review Essay Prize. She was the co-organizer of the 2020 International Conference on Narrative.
Dr. Marsh’s professional services include ‘Ad hoc referee PMLA,’ Modern Language Studies,’ American Review of Canadian Studies,’ Tulsa Studies in Women's Literature,’ and Irish Studies Review.’
