Edward Romanoff

Throughout his academic career at Trinity Area, Mr. Edward Romanoff served as President of the National Honor Society, a member of the newspaper staff, a representative of the Pittsburgh Press, and a member of Future Teachers of America. He developed an appreciation for communication at a young age and even published a series of articles for the Observer-Reporter about his experiences as a foreign exchange student in Ecuador.

Continuing along a similar path after graduating from high school, Mr. Romanoff served in multiple leadership roles at Washington and Jefferson College before completing his graduate work at Northwestern University, where he later worked as a professor. He also taught at the University of Pittsburgh, acted as a DC correspondent for several newspapers, and worked for NBC-TV affiliates. As a communications consultant to leading corporations and organizations, he gained national prominence as the Senior Vice President of Allegheny International. His professional contributions include: judging the Public Relations Society of America’s Big Apple Award competition annually in New York City, New Jersey, and Connecticut; developing electronic communication tools; and conducting media training for executives. After retiring, Mr. Romanoff developed and now manages his own Pittsburgh-based consulting firm. His expertise in media relations, marketing communications, crisis management, and community relations is sought throughout the region.
