Dr. Ronald Snee, a 1959 Trinity High School graduate, was a member of the History Club, Latin Club and wrestling team while in high school. He is an accomplished scholar and holds a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Washington & Jefferson (1963). Completing his Ph.D. and master’s degree in applied and mathematical statistics at Rutgers University, he later served on the faculty.
As Founder and President of Snee and Associates, Dr. Snee boasts a 25 year track record in enhancing processes across diverse sectors—pharmaceuticals, biotech, telecommunications, and more. Notably, he pioneered the first company-wide continuous improvement curriculum for E.I DuPont de Nemours.
Author of four books and over 200 articles on process improvement, quality, management, and statistics, Dr. Snee has received 30 major awards for his critical contributions. He is an honorary member of the American Society for Quality, American Statistical Association, International Academy for Quality, and International Statistical Engineering Association. A recipient of the ASQ Shewhart Medal and Grant Medal, ASQ’s highest awards, Dr. Snee has been honored with the American Statistical Association’s Deming Lecture Award. He was elected to the International Academy for Quality in 2020 and earned the title of W&J Entrepreneur of the Year.
