Dr. Joseph Losko is a 1992 Trinity High School alumnus. After graduating from Trinity, Dr. Losko earned his bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock University in 1996, his master's degree in business from Waynesburg University in 2005, and his doctoral degree in information systems from Robert Morris University in 2012. While attending Trinity, Dr. Losko played on the first Trinity Hockey Club team. He also gave back to the community through Habitat for Humanity, packing meals for the homeless, and assisting with multiple Eagle Scout projects.
Dr. Losko has held environmental, health, and safety related positions at Zinc Corporation of America, UPMC Presbyterian, University of Pittsburgh Physicians, and Mylan Pharmaceuticals, where he has focused on Safety and Environmental Compliance. He serves as a consultant and advisor to multiple corporations and organizations. Throughout his career, he has worked on multiple peer-reviewed articles and book chapters focused on safety and health-related topics. Dr. Losko is a professional member of the American Society of Safety Professionals and the American Society of Healthcare Engineers, and has been a part of the Safety Management Department at Slippery Rock University since 2016.
Dr. Losko is the husband of Jillene, and the father of Zach, a 2023 Trinity graduate, and Sarah, a member of the class of 2026 at Trinity High School. He has stayed involved in the community through the years by coaching the Trinity South Basketball team for one year and a little league baseball team for three years.
