Pete Cameron

Mr. Peter Cameron, a 1975 Trinity graduate, is one of the most distinguished and successful individuals in all of Trinity’s history. Mr. Cameron’s high school career was predominantly focused on excellent grades and competing as a tennis player and wrestler. After graduating, he studied at Muskingum University and other corporate manufacturing schools.

Soon after, he decided to work at the family business, Cameron Coca-Cola. Starting as Cameron Flavoring in 1889, the Coca-Cola bottling company was known for being the second longest family-run Coke bottler in the nation. Additionally, Mr. Cameron has seen success in related fields, as he is an important contributor to his current business, Commerce Street LLC. His arguably most significant contribution to the community, through this company, is establishing the Center on Strawberry, a community center that provides nonprofit organizations with a workplace to conduct business.

Aside from his profession, he is also involved with many community-based organizations, such as the Southeastern Container, the Coca-Cola Production Advisory, and the Washington County Authority Board. Additionally, he is a member of the Trinity School Board and makes decisions that impact the Hiller Community positively. Despite all of the wonderful things he does for the public, the most important aspect of his life is his family - specifically his eight grandchildren, four of whom attend Trinity.
