A 2005 Trinity graduate, Mark Faldowski was a two-sport athlete in football and baseball, earning All-Conference honors, while also serving on Student Council, Peer Jury, National Honor Society, and the Yearbook staff as Sports Editor. He was elected “Most Active” by his classmates.
After graduation, Faldowski attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he played football and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2009. He then served five years as an Army officer, completing three combat tours with the 25th Infantry Division and the elite 75th Ranger Regiment in Iraq and Afghanistan.
In 2014 with fellow veteran Mike Viti, Faldowski co-founded Legacies Alive, a nonprofit that honors fallen heroes and supports Gold Star families. To raise awareness, they walked 7,100 kilometers across the country, one for every service member lost in Iraq and Afghanistan. Today, he continues to serve as its President.
Following his military service, Faldowski earned his MBA from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business in 2017. He is now Co-founder of Carriage View Energy in Pittsburgh, Managing Partner of Ballast Holdings in Dallas, and most importantly, husband to Amy and father to daughters, Rylee Harper and Robbie Rose.
