Jesuit Father Juan Manuel Dorta-Duque, lived a long and faithful life dedicated to the service of others.

Through his leadership, our alumni were able to connect from wherever they were in the world, and their bond of brotherhood was strengthened. His trips around the country to unite alumni inspired the current alumni tours.

As a Jesuit he was a true representation of a ‘man for others’ and his vocation has inspired generations of laity and religious in the Ignatian spirit.

Fr. Dorta-Duque was more than just a priest; he was a pillar, a true leader that helped mold the Alumni Association into what it is today and will be forever remembered as a legacy amongst alumni.

He is posthumously inducted into the Belen Hall of Fame inaugural class.
